Promote and strive to create an open, dynamic,
and free market that assures the effective integration
of Bolivia into the world economy.

The Bolivian-American Chamber of Commerce, Inc., headquartered in New York City, was founded in 1983 as a private, non-partisan, not-for-profit, business membership organization aimed at fostering and promoting trade, commerce and investment between Bolivia and the United States.  The BACC strongly believes that free markets and private enterprise offer the most effective means to achieve economic growth, prosperity, and social equity.

Through the years, the BACC has expanded its membership base to include companies headquartered in Canada, Mexico and Western Europe, as well as growing from a few member companies in 1983 to representing over 75% of the foreign direct investment community in Bolivia today.  Our members range from small firms to Fortune 500 corporations in sectors such as energy, manufacturing, natural resources, technology, tourism, telecommunications, transportation, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, legal, banking and financial services.  It is because of this broad-based membership that the BACC enjoys a well respected and authoritative voice on the overall bilateral relationship but most especially in the areas of commerce, economy, and trade policy.

The BACC offers a wide array of member services including seminars, dynamic networking, business intelligence, trade missions, market research, national and international trade events, sponsor opportunities, conferences, publications and much more.  We strive to preserve the business interests of our members while facilitating productive relationships with a full network of institutions including bilateral government agencies, professional and trade associations, business leaders associations, chambers of commerce, and others.  Our unique strategic relationships with some of the preeminent think-tanks and universities gives our members the benefit of unique insight and thought leadership on Bolivia and the rest of the region.
